Wheel alignment and balancing, starting with the problem

If the vehicle pulls to one side, the steering wheel feels different or you notice vibration, describe the problem when you contact us. We will discuss the assessment and whether alignment or balancing is appropriate.

Workshop in Halfweg, the Netherlands. Call or message ahead to arrange your visit.

Alignment and balancing do different work

Wheel alignment concerns the position of the wheels. Balancing concerns the weight distribution of the wheel and tyre assembly. One job does not replace the other.

Tell us when you notice the problem and whether tyres, wheels or other parts have recently been changed. A brief description alone does not establish the cause. If assessment points to another component, we discuss that before arranging additional repair work.

Describe the vehicle’s behaviour

  • Registration, vehicle type and wheel specification
  • Whether you notice pulling, steering position or vibration
  • The circumstances in which it happens
  • Recent work or an incident involving a wheel

Questions about alignment & balancing

Does every vehicle need alignment when new tyres are fitted?

We do not assume every vehicle needs the same work. Tell us about tyre condition and any symptoms when arranging the appointment.

What if the vibration is related to something else?

We will discuss the need for further assessment. For truck repair and maintenance, Hollandse Truckservice operates at the same address.

Talk to us about your tyres
